Masuki

Masuki is now in Megamall! The restaurant can be found at the basement of Bldg.B :)

After a friend told me that Masuki is now available at a nearby mall, I immediately grabbed the opportunity to dine there.

 It was a late, spur-of-the-moment mall trip (we just had to make a quick purchase), but I managed to convince Rob to grab a bite to eat at Masuki :)

We ordered Wanton Mami and Asado Siopao. I don't really like itlog na maalat (I know, I know, you're probably asking why) so I just went for the regular siopao, which just had pure asado inside. Our orders came a small cup of sauce (similar to siopao sauce); but is to be used for both the Siopao and Mami. Use the sauce as generously as you wish.

The Wanton Mami was just OK for me. Even when mixed with a generous serving of the siopao sauce, I think I'd like the soup to be more flavorful. The noodles used was a bit flat, but the taste somehow grows on you. Charlie Wanton is still my top choice for Mami :)

On the other had, I love, love, love Masuki's asado siopao - yummy asado on soft rice-flour bun :) Can't get enough of the siopao!
