It was a welcome surprise when we finally entered Persian Square. It's seldom (if not at all) that we see a Persian joint with such lush interiors! Very high-end in terms of the materials used and architectural layout! They even have 'semi-private alcoves' for a cozy dinner experience. Persian Square gives you a tiny feel of what Persian lust must have been all about. Even their lavatory is a feast for the eyes.

Given such interiors, it's natural that food prices would also be a bit expensive. And it relatively was (compared to the regular Mister Kebab's or Persiana's), with full meals ranging from P250-P500. Their shawarma, though, was OK at around P100-P150.
We started with a Persian salad, followed by (just) their wraps, with a Lassi for our drink. The salad and Shawarma (Beef/ Chicken) were fine, not so excited over it. It was their sauce which made things a bit different, offering a mix of spice that really goes well with their wraps. Lassi, of course, is always a winner for me in all such restaurants I've been to; and Persian Square is no different :)

Persian Square is a great place if you're looking for a different Persian experience; but is not suggested for the laid back, late night, after drinks food fest or an early-dinner-food-stop-before-hitting-the-bars-place, which most Persian restos are popular for. It may be, however, a good place for a lunch business meeting, or even a date place. But who knows? You may find a different reason for visiting Persian Square. But if only for the lush ambiance, this place is a definite winner. :)
