154 Maginhawa houses 2 great restos where you can just very well chill out: Blacksoup Café + Art Space and Van Gogh is Bipolar. We only got to stay at Blacksoup Café, but I’m looking forward to hanging out at Van Gogh one of these days.

We loved Blacksoup Café! Apart from the quirky interiors, great food, and good conversation, Blacksoup also features art/ photo exhibits. It’s definitely going to be one of our top choices in the Maginhawa area :)

Their Twice Cooked Adobo is one of the best we tasted, and the Adobo Flakes Pasta was also a hit. It’s a major plus that they offer Dave’s Natural Frozen Yoghurt – I’m glad Dave’s home made yoghurt is available in a nearby area… Yoghurt definitely beats the summer heat! Vegetarian dishes are also part of the menu. It was just too bad we just had lunch at SR Thai, we were too full!
