I didn't know that Dumaguete would be such a great travel experience! :) I love their slightly commercial but still laid back atmosphere; how they are accomodating to tourists (alot of foreigners frequent the place), how creative their resto concepts are, and how there are alot of places of interest in the area.
We just snorkeled pretty close to the shore of Apo Island and already saw a pawikan! We had an unforgettable boat ride to watch the dolphins, we enjoyed Bais' sandbar, toured the city, and attempted to try all the food!
Even so, we still failed to experience other activities in the area, like the Balinsasayao/ Danao Twin lakes, Casaroro Falls, side trip to Siquijor, etcetera. Still alot of reasons to go back! :)
