Rempah

I found myself at Aguirre in BF homes, overwhelmed with the resto choices on both sides of the street! Unfortunately for us, all restos we asked didn't accept any credit (which I found so weird). We finally found an ATM and decided on an Asian resto named Rempah. (It's near that Drift Burger joint.)

Similar to most restos with the same cuisine, Rempah's interiors are simple, but easy on the eyes. The resto seemed new, and we actually had the restos to ourselves. Private dinner :)

We ordered Green Chicken Curry, Tom Yum Soup, and Pad Thai. I didn't know if it's because we were really hungry (we were famished by the time we found an ATM) or the food was that good, but we had a great Asian meal. Their curry was a bit too hot for my taste, but the tom yum had a good blend of hot and sour. I finished off the Pad Thai since I didn' want to eat too much rice, haha :) The sweetness of the noodles toned down the spicy curry. Soms, however, is still my top choice for Curry and Tom Yum :)

Looking forward to more Aguirre finds! (But only when I find myself in the area again. Too much traffic in the South, haha).
