... with all it's yummy concoctions made with love! :) The resto is currently on Dry Run. The old resto in Xavierville caught a fire and had to close, but is now again open in UP Village, just along the stretch of Maginhawa St. (I love Maginhawa area with all its restos). It's nearer to Sikatuna, and can be found a few meters after Good Burger. Gayuma ni Maria's grand opening is set in about a month.
As such, some of the food on their menu is still not available. But we had Chinoy in 7th Heaven, Marry Me Moussaka, and of course Beats Sex Anyday for dessert :)
Chinoy in 7th Heaven is just that... heaven. Fried Chicken simmered in Chinese Herbs, with rice and kamote on the side. The rice in itself was great - with a mix of mushroom and skinless longganisa - yum! Marry Me Moussaka's eggplant baked in tomato and cheese was also good, but I suggest an additional order of toast, as the mix may be too creamy. Beats Sex Anyday? I contest! Haha :) But this cake undeniably tastes good, with dark chocolate, a hint of coffee, and caramel. Definitely should be part of your Gayuma meal :)
Chinoy in 7th Heaven, P240
Marry Me Moussaka, P115
Beats Sex Anyday, P75
We'll surely be back when Gayuma's all up and running!
