There's a new resto along Katip Extension:
The sign definitely caught my attention as we drove by, but it took me a few more weeks before I finally got to try out the place. OBODAADOBO replaced a Surf shop, and it's found just before the original Banapple store.
The OA Menu only offers different Adobo dishes, chicken or pork, from mild to spicy, with bread or rice. There's a free serving of soup, which was TOO salty. Had it changed, but it came out just the same...what a way to start the meal.
But Rob's Nagbabagang Adobo (spicy adobo) was a sure-fire hit. It was a bit oily, but the adobo tasted great, perfect spice with rice, egg, and some veggies on the side :) I had the OA na Chicken Sandwich, an open-faced Chicken Adobo sandwich with a hefty serving of onions and egg. The chicken adobo was just OK, and I suggest using plain toasted pandesal as an alternative to the buttered crusty bread used. The buttery crust was a bite too hard and the mix of the butter oil with adobo oil was a bit too much.
Nagbabagang Adobo, P160
Hopefully, their other Adobo Rice meals are as good as their Nagbabagang Adobo.
