UP Village is definitely improving in terms of restaurant choices. From the laid back Friuli Trattoria to the classier Pino (which is stil open, by the way), and to the new PIZZETTA Restaurant, which offers Greek and Italian cuisine.
Just at 122 Maginhawa St., Pizzetta's exterior lured us in as we passed by the street, looking for a new place to try. Actually, its setting is just like Pino on the outside.
Contrary to Pino, however, their walls are just plain white with about 6 small art works hung over the place. But the vibrant color is seen mostly on their red furniture and the black-and-white checkered floor. Pizzetta offers free delivery, and is open Mon-Sat from 3pm to 12mn, Sundays from 1pm-10pm.
Rob and I ordered the Salmon and Tuna Carbonara Fettucini and their Pinoy Vigan Pizza. Both dishes were superb, albeit the pasta serving was a little limited for us. Despite this, the price and taste was definitely worth our visit.
The carbonara was creamy, the pasta al dente. The pizza crust was thin and crisp, just the way we liked it. The combined mozzarella, onions, Vigan longganisa, and bell peppers created a unique taste that Pinoys would love. :)

Pinoy Vigan Pizza (P200)
We'll surely be back to try their Moussaka and other pizzas. ;)
