Megamall's new Atrium wing is now open! It feels a bit like The Block at SM North Edsa, housing different food choices and some high-end establishments. Although alot of the shops stil aren't open, there are about 5 new restaurant options in the area: Curry Curry House, some Kebab resto, Eat & Go, Amici, Sizzling Pepper Steak/House, and Gotti's.

For dinner last night, the girls and i tried Gotti's, an Italian restaurant very much similar to Amici and Friuli Trattoria. In fact, their desserts are the same as Friuli's, which got us all excited since we all loved Friuli's Gelato cakes :)
It was a small restaurant and their interior seemed inviting enough. One could immediately relax and enjoy good conversations over dinner.
We had Soup (Minestrone and Mushroom), Bruschetta, Four Seasons Pizza, Siciliana Pasta, and Chicken Pesto Pasta. For dessert, Butter cinnamon crepe, After Eight and Nero Gelato Cakes.
Their Italian dishes somehow pale in comparison to the taste offered by Friuli or Amici;their dishes surprisingly a bit bland for my taste. Generally, food and prices were OK, but I would probably go to other restaurants to satisfy that Italian craving. I did like the Minestrone, although it could have more veggies. The Bruschetta was fine, although it kinda tasted like something you can whip up at the house (and in just a few minutes at that). The Pesto was a bit too oily, but the Siciliana was fine (probably because I always like pasta+eggplant). Four Seasons Pizza? Could be better. However, service was quick and the staff were very accommodating, always a plus for me :)

There's no need to say anything more about their desserts. Gelato cakes are superb! :)

All in all, it was a night of good friends and great desserts :) Although your Italian craving might not be as easily satisfied with Gotti's, your sweet tooth definitely will.
