Nomnomnom (Happy Food)

Nomnomnom is found at the corner building in Tomas Morato and E. Rodriguez Ave. There's a chance that you might miss the sign, so slow down right after the Shell Station. Additional parking spaces are available just after you turn right at E. Rod. :)

Nomnomnom's restaurant interiors are simple but homey, with white-washed wooden tables, some wall artwork and framed photos. It's an ideal place for an interesting meal, whether with family or friends. Nomnomnom offers a wide assortment of food choices, from soup/ salad to pizza/ pasta and rice meals. Prices are very affordable, and the serving is quite generous. Alcoholic beverages (beer and cocktails) are also available. You may grab a seat inside (non-smoking section) or opt for the cool breeze outside.

We ordered Fourplay for starters - Pita Chips served with Hummus, Salsa, Mottabal, and Roasted Garlic. We were hungry, but the huge serving still blew us away. My favorite would be the Salsa, which was not so tangy, and was a great match with the pita chips. An extra serving of pita chips was served with the order, by the way.

For the main course, we ordered the Prom Pasta and Talong and Lasting Love (Pizza Log). Prom Pasta was composed of Fresh Tomatoes & Basil, Sunflower Seeds, Capers & Herbs on Angelhair pasta. Admittedly, the pasta was not that superb...don't get me wrong, I liked the pasta mix, but the angelhair was a wee bit overdone for my taste.

What we particularly enjoyed was the pizza log. The interesting name Talong and Lasting Love is a sure eye-catcher on the menu, plus it's one of their bestsellers :) The pizza crust was thin and crisp, topped with Grilled Eggplant with Kesong Puti in Tomato Sauce. Yummy concoction. I absolutely love grilled eggplant :)

We were too full to order dessert :( Well, at least that's another reason to visit the place again :) Will try the other food options which have quite interesting titles, such as Nuggets Mo?, VST (Very Succulent Tomatoes), Burgir Manotoc, and Bechamel Bechamel Mucho.

My verdict? Nomnomnom is yumyumyum, healthy eats at great prices :)
