This is it! I was not able to try KFC's original Double Down, but I made it a point to grab their Zinger version :) I shared the dish with my husband; and it's a good thing I did... I love the regular Zinger sandwich and can handle the spice, but doubling the patty doubled the spice and made me crave for rolls. Personally, pairing Double Down with rolls is the perfect match :)
All in all, Zinger Double Down is great, especially for those who like it hot. But more than bacon, I think the whole ensemble could use a more generous helping of cheese :)
