Geisha

We tried this Japanese retaurant at the Fort named Geisha. Interiors and ambiance indicate that they catered to a more Upper B/ A crowd. And no, they did not have servers in traditional geisha outfits. On my end, it was good to pseudo fine-dine once in awhile.

Edamame (boiled and salted baby beans) was given as a complimentary appetizer:

We ordered Sesame Encrusted Tofu Salad, California Maki, Vegetable Gyoza, and Wasabi Pepper Chicken. I was kinda scared that the Chicken will be too spicy, but I actually enjoyed it. The wasabi wasn't strong, and you can control your serving of spice, while the peppered chicken went well with the sige veg fritters. The Maki and Gyoza were generally normal and okay. I surprisingly liked the salad, with the greens, tofu, and shiitake mushrooms combine splendidly with their yuzu-miso vinaigrette.
Sesam Encrusted Tofu Salad, P235
California Maki, P295
 Vegetable Gyoza, P190
Wasabi Pepper Chicken, P360

We had a relatively good dining experience; but for the price and taste, I think I'd walk around the area some more and look for another resto to try. Besides, Aria is just nearby :)
