Bangers

I went to see a movie at Rockwell recently and we had early dinner at Bangers. It's my first time to try out this particular hotdog place :)

You can have your dawgs ala carte or as a meal (with one side and a drink). We opted for a taste of the South side, as I ordered Southern Comfort while my friend had South Central.

Southern Comfort consists of caramelized onions, bacon, with BBQ sauce. South Central came with chili con carne, jalapeƱos and cheese. Of course, we got fries as sides :) Although you can choose from Caesar salad, Mac n Cheeze, etc.

I enjoyed my Southern comfort -- hotdog was juicy and not oily, bacon was crisp just the way I like it, onions were sweet and tangy at the same time.

Bangers kinda reminds me of Sabrett hotdogs :) Not a bad way to dine before a movie :)

MoMo! Cafe

It's been awhile since I've last eaten at MoMo Cafe in Eastwood, but I still find the food good and the servings generous :) You won't miss this resto when you enter the new(er) Eastwood mall -- it's the first resto on your left.

What I specifically liked this time would be the Corn Dogs! I even forgot to list down the price :) Four corn dogs with a serving of fries and 3 dips... definitely a fun dish to share with friends.

Texas Roadhouse Grill

The girls and I "crashed in" on the Boys Christmas dinner. Thankfully, the place was new to me and I got to try something new again this week :)

We had dinner at Texas Roadhouse Grill; in El Pueblo (they have another branch at Boni High Street). The place was reminiscent of Outback but with TGIF prices. The first thing I noticed were the servers (females) wearing knee high boots! I wish I had an excuse to wear one too :) Service was fast, always a major plus :)

There weren’t many people and we were led to a semi-enclosed area which allowed us to be boisterous without annoying other patrons. We excitedly ordered (boys and hunger is never a good combination) and I planned to just have soup. Unfortunately, I was soon eating off Rob’s plate. I’m not really into pork/steak/the like, but I immensely enjoyed the Pork Chops – it was very flavorful and tender at the same time. The mashed potatoes with gravy fit the dish perfectly.

Dessert was also not bad at all. Although I found the Apple Crumble a bit too sweet, their Mud Pie was good – huge slice of mocha ice cream and chocolate.

Overall, it was a good, fun dinner... Wouldn’t mind going back for some more Chops!
